Online Class English For Young Learners This is my Mom/Dad Level 1 Unit 2-1 This unit is centered on Mom and Dad, and basic language forms for ESL young learners that are starting to learn English and this is their first contact with it. It’s meant to last about 25-40 minutes. POWERPOINT This Lesson is part of a bigger Unit and it includes: Warm up section, in this case a Family song. Vocabulary: feelings, mom, dad, M,D and alphabet. Key sentences: This is my mom. This is my dad. Practice: activities for students to use the target language they have just learned. Drilling: activities where they will drill the words and the pronunciation. Games: to practice the language in a fun way Revision: a slide to review the words and key sentences. Goodbye: an alphabet song Extra: some extra activities included related to the topic. Homework: includes a short activity for the student to complete.
